-Abstract-
Graphene, the thinnest elastic material, has extraordinary electronic and thermal properties that make it a promising host for device applications. In particular, graphene has an extremely good mechanical property, offering a great opportunity to transparent electrodes for flexible electronics that should maintain a stable operation under a high strain. The recent advances in large-scale synthesis of graphene films by chemical vapor deposition are expected to enable various macroscopic applications such as transparent conducting films useful for flexible electronics. In this talk, we present a large area growth of graphene films and transfer printing method onto flexible plastic substrates and examples for device applications including flexible transistor and OLED lighting.
