Date : 2012. 3. 14, 2:30 PM Place : Rm.L306, Bldg.500 -Abstract- In this talk, I will present an overview of material related research activities in Science and Technology Division in Almaden Research Center. Research topics including organic and inorganic material synthesis, nanostructuring, and their applications to Bio, Electronics and Energy will be discussed. This talk will include more detailed discussion on recent progress in material research for solar energy harvesting and scientific challenges of batteries for electric vehicle propulsion. In addition, I will discuss Almaden’s close ties with universities to open opportunities for collaborations in areas of mutual technical interest.
