Research Topic
We use spectroscopic, microscopic, and computational methods to investigate a wide range of subjects from molecular physics to nanoscience to cell biology. We study small molecules of biological interest and their clusters, anion clusters of materials importance, electron-initiated surface chemistry, ultrafast control and detection of molecular processes, single molecule probing of biomolecular interactions and genetic assay, and optical and force microscopy for cellular systems. Our research goal is to elucidate the underlying principles of biological processes and nanomaterials applications in the language of chemistry, especially in terms of molecular interactions.
